a short documentary with comedy elements, produced at FAMU, the film and TV school of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague
Synopsis:
Chuhei Iwasaki is a Prague-based conductor of numerous prestigious orchestras in the Czech Republic. René Kmet is a student of film directing and has always admired the immediacy of gestures and commands with which conductors can guide and lead their orchestras. Hence, René embarks on a crash course in conducting under Chuhei's mentorship, in the hope of being able to take away a useful lesson for his film directing from it. The result is an insightful, poetic and humorous portrait of a frequently misunderstood profession.
