ChIPs is a nonprofit advancing women in technology, law and government. Founded in 2005 by seven women who at the time were chiefs of IP (ChIPs!) at technology companies in Silicon Valley, it has grown beyond those roots, now with 3,500 members and nearly one dozen regional chapters in the United States and abroad.
The ChIPs Global Summit is an annual gathering of 550+ women, primarily senior executives and counsel, and sells out almost instantly. Attendees typically comprise 40 percent from technology companies and the remaining from law firms and government.
