One of the highlights of NAB was certainly the Blackmagic "Cinema Camera." Out of nowhere, the company introduced a 2.5k, 12-bit raw, 4:2:2 video output imager with 13 stops dynamic range, all for under $3,000.

The innovative rethinking of video camera features a largely touchscreen interface and hot swappable solid state drives, Canon EF mount, and Thunderbold I/O.
