Many dead trees are still standing above the water as the lake is gradually drying up year after year. 3 thousand Rivers is a multimedia opera composed by Victor Gama, commissioned by the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Prince Claus Fund. Performed at the Grand Auditorium Gulbenkian in Lisbon with musicians of the Gulbenkian Orchestra.
