In the Fall 2011 semester, Entrepreneurship students learned by doing and by giving in Professor Scott Landow’s class. The first challenge for the students was to open and operate a lemonade stand for charity. Student teams each devised their own take on a lemonade stand and set to work preparing their product and sales strategies.
The culminating project of the course was a campus-wide Bone Marrow Registry drive. Working with "Be the Match," a group that works to provide life-saving transplants for patients in need, students planned logistics and promotion for the two-day drive. In the end, every single bone marrow registration kit was used. ,
