From 1941-1945 sixteen-million Americans fought in World War II. During the war, ninty-four thousand Americans were held as POWs in the European theater. On Thanksgiving Day 1944 Pvt. Alleck Resnick was captured and spent six months in Stalag XI B. Mr. Resnick shares his story in this video.
