This documentary was created in the Reel Grrls Thesis Program for advanced students in 2008 by Brooke Noel and Sami Muilenburg. The film explores the impact of media consolidation on news content and how this affects youth, both as viewers and media makers. Generation has been widely viewed and re-posted within the national Media Justice movement and was featured on the Free Press website. It has screened at over a dozen festivals throughout the world, winning multiple awards.
