A few of the many highlights from Stuart and Orde’s classics set…
Now this was special… Slam have long been favourites here at EQTV Towers, but in recent years, the duo seem to be getting better and better. And whether they’re releasing tracks on Soma offshoot Paragraph or playing out, Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle’s music hits the spot every time. So faced with the unenviable task of following on from an electrifying set by Laurent Garnier and his LBS cohorts, Stuart and Orde raided the archives to deliver an hour’s worth of classics in celebration of their 20 years together as Slam. There were too many highlights to mention, but in between grinning like idiots as the old favourites kept coming, we managed to catch a few special moments on film – including the last 10 minutes or so, which you can watch below, with the mighty Positive Education proving that even after almost two decades, it’s still one of the best dance tracks ever written.
