The ambiguity of perception is best illustrated by the oral tradition of family history. In this case, a tragedy from a long time ago, narrated by a relative. The question rises if the deceased person was murdered, or committed suicide. The death was never cleared up.
The actual events surrounding the situation remain vague, as do the family’s stories. Until today there are rumors about this death, kept alive in family narration, yet never truly based in fact. The oral tradition hovers somewhere between myth and reality.
