A two day celebration of the music and life of Duke Ellington under the direction of Museum CEO Greg Carroll. The days were filled with two panel discussions moderated by Steve Kraske and Greg Carroll, along with Clark Terry, Barrie Hall, and Jazz Historian Dan Morgenstern. Also educational music instruction for young students, story telling, and performances by three jazz bands including the Ellington All Star Band under the direction of Barrie Hall Featuring Clark Terry. During the final performances two Lifetime Achievement Awards were given out to Ahmed Alaadeen, and Clark Terry. The newest edition to the museum, a bust of Duke Ellington by the artist, portrait and history sculptor Howard Lazar was dedicated. Bob Barry
