The Place Theatre, January 2009
Premiered in january 2009 at The Place Theatre at the Resolution! Contemporary performance festival.
In a time when the tragedy of Medea has been represented so repeatedly, the aim was to bring Medea by Eurypides and Medea by Heiner Müller on stage and let their unavoidable struggle out. Then Love as a complex and triangular experience started to flow as soon as Jason, presented here as an average man, enters the game. His presence as a toy that belongs to a multiple matrioshka-made tree to disposal of his suitors made the creative process a hazy and complex artistic research. Conveyance in between an intermittent narrative, shared choreography and necessary plasticity, drove us to a painful and pleasant encounter within the process and on stage.
