“The Oasis”, as the project became known by, was a true collaborative effort between The Little Nell, Aspen Ski Co, Veuve Clicquot and The Public Works.

The Public Works was approached to build not only a pop-up champagne bar for The Little Nell, but a structure that could withstand the elements at 11,000+ feet and be capable of transport up and down Aspen Mountain via Snowcat. Additionally the bar needed to express the Veuve Clicquot brand at the highest possible level as Veuve Clicquot was featured at “The Oasis” for their annual Clicquot in the Snow celebration.

The Public Works produced and edited short films showcasing “The Oasis” and Clicquot in the Snow for social media. HatchTV joined in to shoot some Phantom camera segments at 1000+ frames per second- imagine The Art of Flight but with champagne. “The Oasis” also became the backdrop for several photo shoots by TPW on Aspen Mountain.

Huge thanks to everyone involved, especially the entire crew of Aspen Ski Co. from marketing to operations to patrol who made movement of “The Oasis” on the mountain a smooth operation.

We would also like to thank our partner, Richlite, whose amazing solid surface made the bar counter top. Extremely durable and beautiful was exactly what the job called for. Check out more at richlite.com/
