Although few are aware of it, Toronto has a huge homeless cat problem. It is estimated that there are well over 100,000 stray and feral cats living on Toronto's streets. Municipal services and animal welfare organizations lack the resources necessary to effectively manage a problem of this magnitude. Enter a small but energetic grass roots volunteer movement fueled by compassion and mindfulness. This short documentary film features the work of the Toronto Feral Cat Coalition and explores Mohandas Gandhi's principle that, "The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated."
