This is the short version of the documentary: Once Upon Today, winner of the first prize at Ferrara Film Commission Festival 2018. Bevagna is a medieval town located in Umbria, in the heart of Italy. Every year, during the Festival "Il mercato delle Gaite", the inhabitants of Bevagna take a leap back in time to reproduce the life of their ancestors. For ten days in June they will work, eat and live as their fathers used to. The remaking of the old jobs was possible after detailed and accurate researches and studies led by Professors Franco Franceschi and Andrea Berlucchi of Siena and Florence University.
