The Firebird Project references the figure of the firebird from the eponymous ballet by I. Stravinsky. Three different solos attempt to open up different perspectives or allows for alternative interpretations of this figure.
The third and last part of the Firebird series tries to translate the figure's associations with fire into a feeling or atmosphere. Spoken word fragments recorded on dictaphones combine with songs by David Lieder, which together mix with the fragmented movement material. Daniel Lieder was the singer of the Swiss band Alboth!, which had already reached cult status at the time.
