* Religious intolerance in Dambulla
On the 20th of April 2012, a large mob led by the Mahanayaka of the Rangiri Dambulu chapter stormed the Dambulla Khariya mosque premises demanding its demolition - alleging that the mosque was an illegal construction built within the sacred area belonging to the local temple.

* Not in Our Name’ - an online campaign by Groundviews to renounce religious extremism
Groundviews, a citizens journalism website, initiated an on-line statement titled "Not In Our Name", that calls on Sri Lankans to put down their names and resist religious extremism. YATV spoke to Sanjana Hattotuwa, the editor of Groundviews, to find out about what "Not In Our Name" is all about and why it's important for all Sri Lankans to support such initiatives.
