Dr. John Borelli's Plenary Address on "Vatican II: Preparing the Catholic Church for Dialogue" delivered to the 2012 National Workshop on Christian Unity (NWCU) on April 17, 2012.
Dr. Borelli, a native of Oklahoma, is Special Assistant for Interreligious Initiative to the President of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He served as Associate Director of the Secretariat for Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops for eighteen years. Before that he was a professor at the College of Mount St. Vincent (New York City) and Fordham University, from which he received his Ph.D. in the history of religions and theology. He has published over 175 articles as well as authored or co-authored a number of significant books, including "Intefaith Dialogue: A Catholic View"(2006).
