The Great Granny Revolution tells the story of the Wakefield Grannies, 12 Canadian women, who offer moral and financial support to a group of Gogos (grandmothers) raising their AIDS -orphaned grandchildren in Alexandra Township, South Africa. The film explores the bonds of friendship between women and the power of the individual to make a difference.
