L.C. von Sukmeister doesn’t deny the influence of Indian ink and of Hollywood cinematographic effects on his work. On the contrary, he holds on to these forms of creation as to adequate and suitable expressions of his own time and visual culture. A composite and urban back-ground, a breed-crossing culture that allows him to make use of all the artistic tools, without hierarchy, and to adapt to events, situations, realizations and their ever-changing states. In his studio space he makes use of video, sound, drawing, texts, painting, sculpture and installation work to keep up an intense and all-time practice, as well as high-level potential for development.
