In March 2012, I joined eleven men as they prepared for a Jericho Circle Project Weekend Intensive. Each of them shared their experience as a Jericho Circle volunteer.
They work inside a prison with inmates in state and federal prison in Massachusetts. Jericho Circle volunteers facilitate weekly circles inside the prison and learn about accountability, integrity, and emotional intelligence. For them, it is a rewarding and healing experience. Many of the men go into prison one evening every week. This gathering was in preparation for a weekend when they would spend 23 contact hours with men inside the prison. I was touched by their candor and vulnerability. I invite you to hear how they feel about their work.
