WINNER: FCC Short Film Competition 2012 - Best Cinematography
Originally made as a personal film for my family only, I decided to make it better to submit in a film competition in Malayalam language. A big thanks to my friend and partner Mansoor CK who took the lead and got it completed for the competition and won "Best Cinematography" award with flying colors. English subtitles will be added shortly.
Inspired by my personal story, this film shares a tiny chapter, a not-so-happy part of my life that documents my typical weekend. With a hectic work schedule and hundreds of jobs to get done, I find myself losing precious moments with my children as they grow up. I am, like thousands of others, a victim of the modern work ethics where multi-tasking is considered a plus and a desirable quality in an individual. While we get a handsome paycheck for displaying such skill at work, we forget what the trade off is... something that is priceless.
