Catherine Solheim (Department of Family Social Science) and Linda Buturian (Department of Postsecondary Teaching and Learning) traveled to northern Thailand in August 2011 to interview community organizers, educators, and fishermen about the impact of globalization on the Mekong River and the villagers’ ways of living.
