A short experimental student film from my 2nd year of Media Production.
First things first, I'm not vegetarian, but not against it either.
It concerns the abjective nature we have with food, specifically meat and how it is produced. The fear and repulsion, yet the fascination also. It also tries to highlight the shocking cruelty that takes place in slaughter-houses and perhaps the desensitising nature of working in some of those conditions. Perhaps we are all willingly ignorant to what goes on for the sake of our own eating habits?
