The very nature of the white water environment, changes both shape and form continuously. These demanding challenges, means the paddler desires solutions to both absorb the terrain and use the energy from the river's flow. This chapter, takes all the initial chapters themes, along with dynamic stability, to equip the paddler to take on rapids, by understanding the terrain and its affects on the paddler to maintain their body tension.
Delivered as a critical review of set piece rapids, with break downs, the use of slo-mo and graphical overlays, all the themes of Genotype 2 Part 1-6, are revisited and applied to numerous examples to give an enriched context.
