Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs | Georgetown University
Since last fall Georgetown University has been an active participant in the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, a White House initiative engaging nearly 400 campuses around the country. This year-end symposium was an opportunity for faculty staff, students, and community partners to celebrate and reflect on their experiences in advancing interfaith engagement around community challenges of poverty and educational opportunity. Eboo Patel, founder and executive director of the Chicago-based Interfaith Youth Core, a pioneering organization at the intersection of interfaith dialogue and civic action, gave the keynote address.
