WOLF PACK are an award-winning collective who create eclectic, cross-disciplinary concerts based on a one-word theme. Fiercely innovative and highly original, we rebel against your average sit-down concert, incorporating off-the-wall inventiveness, theatrical sensibilities and unconventional humour. We feature unique collaborations with actors, dancers, composers and visual artists, and have premiered 12 works to date.
This performance of Egyptian Love Song by Frederic Rzewski (performed by Pippa Dodd) is taken from our second concert, WOLF PACK 2: LOVE which took place on 17/2/12 at the Chapel of Royal Holloway, Egham. Female performers were dressed in white, with males in traditional suit and tie. The concert was based around a wedding, with the first half featuring duets and a number of pieces involving female performers being walked up the aisle and performances taking place in front of the altar. The second half contained pieces based around love and was intended to evoke a wedding reception in terms of mood and performance.
