This, in the world of coastal development, is a mega project. It lasted eight years and was budgeted at over 40 million dollars from the UN and the governments of Norway and Belgium.. It was facilitated by our partner IDDPE of the Moçambican Ministery of Fisheries.
The project ended in March of 2012 and it will be essential to go evaluate the project from a community perspective in a year. We are seeking funding to undertake a similar study funded by the African Development Bank in Madagascar which would be organized by our partner there, Blue Ventures.
