Welcome to Resurrection Life of Jesus Church. We are a Bible centered group of believers who desire to grow in the full knowledge of Jesus Christ without compromise to His Word. We believe, teach and practice all things that Jesus taught and were practiced by the Church in the book of the Acts of the Apostles. Jesus called his disciples to be salt and light. Salt is a preservative but it is also something that adds savor and enjoyment to our daily food. Light is a symbol of truth; it is comforting, penetrating, guiding and exposes darkness. We seek to preserve biblical truth and shed the glorious light of the Gospel in a world that is consumed by darkness.

ABOUT THE VIDEO
Abraham had performed a countless number of animal sacrifices, but everything changed when God asked him for the ultimate sacrifice - the life of his son!
He did not protest, but set about making preparations to carry out Jesus' instructions. Abraham had come to the conclusion that God was trustworthy. If Jesus was asking him to kill his son, there must be a good reason. Abraham fully embraced the task knowing that God could raise Isaac from the dead if necessary. Forty years spent with Jesus had changed him. He was willing to obey God even if it didn't make any sense whatsoever.
Likewise, Jesus is looking for people who are willing to labor diligently, dependable people who won't act differently when they are alone and turn to pet sins. Abraham did not advertise the fact that he was going to sacrifice his son. A true servant is not looking for fame and fortune; he only cares whether God is pleased with him. Jesus said that if we are faithful in the little things, we will also be faithful in larger matters. Where do you stand?
