Debra & Alan Jenkins were chosen by the Arthritis Foundation to be recipients of their 2012 Humanitarian award.
The Jenkins' refurbished a historic landmark in Huntsville and transformed it into the performing arts center it is today... Merrimack Hall.

In addition to the shows, comedy acts & musical numbers that perform there, the Jenkins' also introduced several classes & programs for special needs children. It's because of these programs and their selfless giving that they were chosen for this award.

In lieu of an acceptance speech, they chose to have a video play instead.

Special thanks to Erin Dacy-Boles for her help in piecing this together.
