This video shows an IT-project carried out in Nakuru, Kenya, at HOPE VTI - formerly called the House of Plenty when it was working as a rehabilitation center for street children. Through the Swedish ISP company DGC, who has sponsored HOPE VTI with computers and teachers, it is now a fully working IT center located right in the middle of the Kenyan countryside. It has two teachers, a classroom and a small library along with the ICT room, equipped with 10 computers and, of course, the Internet.
After some two years of planning, the project was finally realized in March 2012. HOPE VTI is now used by school children from the community in the adjacent area, who uses the center each week, Monday through Saturday, all day long.
