My first attempt at a daylight to nighttime transition timelapse video. Shot with a Canon 40D in RAW format using GBTimelapse software and the "Advanced" method with a Tokina 11-16mm F/2.8 lens at 11mm. Aperture flicker was minimized by using the GBTimelapse lens calibration method, and LRTimelapse was used in Post Processing to deflicker and also to ramp White Balance. Rendered with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Media Encoder. Subject matter is simply the view from my back yard. I got lucky with the clouds this particular evening. The moon rose around midnight, ruining what would have otherwise been a great Milky Way shot. The light pollution is from Napa Valley to the south.
