A rich, vibrant and multicultural picture of the capital in the run up to 2012. A unique painterly twist on liveaction captures the cities timeless essence and feel. In sequences such as the Thames shots and the gig scene I used the specific painting into pixels technique I had created in the "Blythborough" test.
The film was commissioned by Film London and the London Development Agency to promote London edge and diversity for use in the run up to the 2012 Olympics. The producer and myself were flown out to premiere the film at the Beijing Olympics 2008 in the London Government centre "London House". The film received a lot of press interest for its innovative blend of live action and animation.
