May 19th is Personal Support Worker Day and the Perley and Rideau Veterans’ Health Centre is proud to celebrate our team of full- and part-time PSWs.
These men and women make a large contribution to the quality of life experienced by our residents. As everyone in the Perley Rideau community recognizes, PSWs do much of the heavy lifting – both literally and figuratively – in long-term care. And the emotional support that our PSWs provide is also crucial.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the contribution of PSWs has been particularly important. In fact, it is only thanks to their professionalism and exceptional dedication to duty that we have been able to mitigate the effects of the pandemic. On behalf of the entire Perley Rideau community, thank you.
