I had always thought that pullback increases counterflex by itself.
These merged clips (one of a conventional stop and another one of a pullback) show that I, for some unconscious reason, get more rod bend also during the stroke previous to the pullback; some kind of anticipation.
Some other clips seems to show the same issue; so the bigger counterflex isn't only a result of pullback, at least in my case.
