I was introduced to Steve Strukoff via Rex Hohlbein of Homeless In Seattle. Steve is currently without proper shelter, living in a tent he made out of found materials in what he calls a "hobo camp" in Seattle. Steve is a roofer by trade, and an extremely talented artist who has only recently returned to drawing and painting.

As Steve says, even a smile can do wonders for the many homeless folks you pass on the streets. If nothing else, it can help those we often look past, feel less invisible.

Update: As of April 2013, Steve now has housing!
