During the COVID-19 pandemic, legal assistance and aging services providers are looking at options to reach older adults with the greatest social and economic need. Remote continuation of outreach and community education activities allows advocates to share critical, time-sensitive legal information and communicate to older adults that legal assistance is still available.
This webinar will highlight models for conducting outreach remotely, discuss platforms and strategies for implementation, and provide communication and framing tips for developing outreach materials on COVID-19 and elder justice topics.
Presenters:
Sarah Galvan, Justice in Aging
Lori Mars, National Center on Elder Abuse
Erin Riker, Center for Elder Law & Justice
Susan Stiles, National Council on Aging
This webinar will build on past NCLER trainings, including Creating Effective Legal Outreach Programs and Strategies for Providing Remote Legal Services to Older Adults.
