Enhanced Visualization (EV) Therapy is an integration of therapeutic massage, interactive video projections, and realtime visual feedback from an out-of-body camera perspective. Treatments involve the use of a face-cradle display and video goggles, which provide both client and therapist with a live view of the healing session from a single overhead perspective. Throughout the session, both client and therapist see what the other sees, a realtime view of themselves from a point-of-view located outside of their bodily borders. Clients can watch from above as the therapist uses gesture and movement to create, project, and guide interactive visualizations on the client's body. The gesture based interface, combined with a wireless touchscreen attached to the therapist's arm, untethers the therapist from any stationary control device, providing the therapist the freedom to administer therapeutic bodywork.
