An optimistic mother of two girls, Janet was diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer in 2003, having lost her mother in 1992 to the same disease. However, when Janet received the “one call that you dread your entire life,” she took on her cancer bravely, still going to work and facing her fears. Janet is now a healthy, fit woman who supports her exercise class “Fit and Fearless” and owns her own company, which goes by the name “Biography Studios.” An animal-lover, she believes in pet therapy when it comes to cancer patients and shares her life motto, in which she notes: “I kind of ignore everything negative 90% of the time and I try to be up and positive”
