Lizard pose is one of my favorite hip opening poses because you can allow your weight to determine the amount of intensity you would like to feel as you not only lengthen your hamstrings, thighs, and hip flexors, but opens your hips. Please remember to let your head hang and let your neck lengthen towards the floor to release any added tention you may begin to feel as you lengthen and open your hips and legs.
