Ever And is generated from a 10-second clip extracted from the film Moulin Rouge. The frames comprising the clip are re-sequenced in a complex, staggered pattern that transforms a 360-degree pan around the actors into an unstable vortex. By layering this information over itself, also at staggered intervals, the original clip becomes a perpetual moment, suspended in a continual state of deferred desire. The audio from the original source clip is densely layered to create a sustained orchestral climax that never resolves.
(Note that even at SD resolution, this work is extremely hard to encode even with a high data rate, so the quality here is not amazing.)
