In the first demonstration, a web browser connects to a remote ParaView server. The data is rendered remotely by the server, and the rendered images are streamed to the web browser for display. During interaction, lower resolution images are streamed to achieve suitable framerates. Next, we switch to local rendering using WebGL. In this mode, instead of sending images, the ParaView server sends the geometry to the web browser so that the scene can be rendered locally using WebGL. In the last demonstration, KiwiViewer, a native app running on an iPad connects to the ParaView server. The server sends geometry to KiwiViewer for local rendering.
