To overcome inequalities in South Africa it is essential that the natural resources of the country contribute to improving the lives of people in the most remote in the most remote areas.
During apartheid the Mothlabe community were forcibly removed from their land. Like many communities in South Africa they were forced into the apartheid’s government’s homeland system. Here they were ruled by a Traditional Authority system of governance administered by apartheid cooperating chiefs.
