To celebrate the launch of The Christie Goodwin Collection in the Royal Albert Hall shop in 2020, which sees some of her photography captured at the Hall made available to buy, Matt Griffin of the Royal Albert Hall caught up with Christie to discuss her career as a photographer, the challenges of doing her job and what she’s learned from working with some of the biggest names in music. And of course, she talks about the Royal Albert Hall, which remains her favourite venue in the world. At the time of this interview Christie had worked at the Hall, both for the Hall and for artists, on almost 250 occasions shooting pop icons, rock legends, crooners, dancers, orchestras, comedians and more.
