This video shows the MOVA Contour Facial Capture Process. Phosphor-based makeup is airbrushed onto a performer's face. She then sits in the MOVA Contour capture rig where 22 grayscale cameras capture the makeup patterns from different angles. The random patterns are correlated by the MOVA Contour software resulting in a 3D surface and frame- and shot-consistent tracking mesh. 3 color cameras simultaneously capture the performer's skin texture for reference.
