Rained all day, and then the sun came out. I saw little puffy clouds forming over the foothills, so I drove up one of the mountains, launched and played in the puffy little clouds. They were only 4-7 hundred feet up and forming right over my head. Mostly stayed on the sunward side of the clouds. Wish I'd made more passes from behind, as the GoPro picks that up much better than my flight camera.
That nice little field feels about the size of a postage stamp at the speed the X8 lands. Had that
been a downwind final I'd have ended up in the trees.
