This railway was opened in 1901. It was taken over by The Skanska Jarnvagar veteran association in 1971. This was the first Swedish veteran railway on standard track gauge. It is entirely operated by enthusiasts in their own time and is financed by them. It is fully according to Swedish regulations with all that is required in safety, training, accident handling, health requirements and maintenance. The aime is to show the way a steam operated railway was run during the forties and fifties.
The complete film is a documentary about the full story with Swedish and English spoken commentaries.
