David Cook gave this talk, " Isn't 'being decent' good enough?",on Sunday’ 20th May, 2012; here at St Helen's Church, Bishopsgate, to our Sunday-afternoon congregation.
He spoke on a passage from Luke's gospel - chapter 18, verses 18 to 30 -Jesus and the rich ruler.
David is with us for four months. He recently retired, after 25 years as Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College, and now divides his time between working as a part-time pastoral assistant at the Chinese Presbyterian Church in Surry Hills, Sydney, and an itinerant preaching ministry.
