South African artist Talya Lubinski chats with us in the last days of her residency at Künstlerhaus Bethanien. In it, she talks about her recent exhibition ‘Marble Dust’, which took as its starting point the Mamelodi Cemetry in South Africa. Get to see more of how she developed this exhibition and worked with tensions between the materialities of paper and marble, between disintegration and permanence, between memory and loss.
Talya has been a resident at KB with the support of the KfW Stiftung.
