Samhita Mukhopadhyay is a writer, speaker and technologist residing in Brooklyn, NY. She is the Executive Editor of Feministing.com and is the author of Outdated: Why Dating is Ruining Your Love Life.

Samhita is a sought after speaker, lecturing regularly at college and universities about race, politics, technology, sexuality and feminism. She is also a web strategist who has developed and managed the online technology strategies of leading grassroots organizing groups.
In partnership with the Writers House, Rutgers University Department of English, the Institute for Women’s Leadership piloted Transforming Lives. This project combining filmmaking and interview skills to help our undergraduate Leadership Scholars learn from women leaders who are making a difference in the world. This documentary was created by Leadership Scholar Arabelle Sicardi, Class of 2014, with the assistance of instructor Dena Seidel and IWL Media Associate Nicholas Salazer.
