Oman has one of the highest rates of Down Syndrome within children. Globally, the incidence of down syndrome is 1-800 births while in Oman, it is 1/350 births. While Oman has more than twice the problem, the support form the government is not available.
A small group of parents whose children had down syndrome, started the Down Syndrome Parents Support Group. This documentary aims to explore their challenges, shed some light on the condition, and to implore those in authority in Oman to take the issue more seriously.
